Resisting Irish Prejudice
At a time when Irish people face increasing repression in Britain, this exhibition provides a valuable resource for progressive representations of Ireland’s culture and history. It shows how, in recent years, Irish people in London, both first and second generation, have been resisting anti-Irish prejudice and establishment hostility and enthusiastically asserting their identity through a wide range of cultural initiatives.
