Monocrone’s first exhibition was What’s a Nice Girl Like You Doing In A Place Like This? Their installation The Camera as Domestic Item was exhibited in South of the River at The South London Art Gallery in 1986, an exhibition compiled by Neil Martinson of the Blackfriars Photography Project as well as other groups. The catalogue contained the article on Monocrone on pages 6 and 7.
